Unauthorised debit for cancelled subscription

My Federal Bank debit card was used for a card-based recurring transaction for a Tickertape subscription, processed via Razorpay.

 

Despite cancellation, auto-debit occurred on 03 Jan 2026.

 

Federal Bank has advised that the merchant must cancel the card mandate from Razorpay backend.

 

I request Tickertape to;

 

1. Immediately stop all debit card recurring transactions on my card and send me a confirmation of compliance in writing.

2. Provide your service request number for the above.

3. Process refund of the whole amount immediately.

 

Tickertape is responsible for this auto debit since I followed instructions on your website and cancelled the subscription ahead of due date. For the glitch in your portal please don’t hold me to ransom.

 

Appreciate a prompt action.
